ADVANCED ELECTRONIC TECHNOLOGIES

WEET LIGHTING

Patented technology

Used to assemble electronic components (LEDs) on an electrical harness, without connectors or soldering. The crimping technique is used. A technique imported from the aerospace industry.

This modular technology means that the number and layout of the buttons (LEDs) can be adapted to each specific integration and usage requirement. The LED control functions are implemented in the fully customisable control unit.
The aim is to adapt the technology to the way the wearer’s clothing functions, while maintaining optimum comfort.

WEET technology is robust (waterproof – IP67, up to 50 wash cycles), strong (tension up to 80N). It can withstand temperatures of over 170° and is lightweight (the case weighs approx. 50g).

High-power LED

Patented technology

Allows high-power LEDs to be integrated into textiles, thanks to the addition of a heat sink.
This means that high light output can be achieved without risk.

The power of the LEDs can be adjusted from 1500 Lumen (hands-free operation), to approx. 3500 Lumen (for detection at 8 m in dark smoke) up to 22,000 Lumen for daytime blinding).

LED RGB

& Bluetooth connectivity

Thanks to its expertise, Weartronic is integrating RGB LEDs into textiles, enabling clothing to fulfil another function. The garment then becomes a ‘media’ object that communicates with its environment.

By changing colour, these RGB LEDs can be used to indicate a direction or to group people together according to their role (e.g. to identify and group together people with the same signalling colour).
Bluetooth connectivity makes it very easy to activate this change of state remotely.

Series assembly

Mixed and parallel

Weartronic’s expertise also extends to the assembly of the various electrical harnesses, which can be either in series over long lengths, in parallel or mixed.

This assembly technique retains the intrinsic qualities of Weartronic’s technology, namely robustness, performance and flexibility.

Boxes

Rechargeable electronics

They have been specifically developed with 2 design objectives in mind: lightness and robustness. They contain miniaturised electronic boards, the fruit of several years’ development.

They incorporate sophisticated electronic components, such as Bluetooth chips and accelerometers. The easy-to-use cases also contain rechargeable batteries. They are easily interchangeable between the brand’s different products.
