La LED-Line
Luminous Guide Line 2.0
Developed jointly with the Paris Fire Brigade, this guide line has the same physical characteristics as guide lines, but with a major innovation. Thanks to the addition of luminous LEDs visible at 360°, spread over a length of 50 m, the guide line is perfectly identifiable in white smoke. A veritable Ariadne’s Line 2.0, the LED-Line has been tested under real fire conditions (white smoke, foam and 170 degrees).
It consists of 40 to 66 luminous LEDs encapsulated in transparent silicone nodules spaced every 5m. It is powered by a rechargeable electronic box.
The LED Jacket
Man In Distress Detection System
Developed in close collaboration with the BSPP and equipment manufacturers, this man-in-distress detection device can be integrated into the sleeves of a fire jacket or the envelope of a SCBA. When a fall occurs and after 10 seconds of inactivity, the system is triggered and emits a very bright light visible through the black smoke (qualified for 8m).
